president obama's about to speak live from the white house. in the meantime let's bring in chief washington correspondent, john harwood. john, i thought earlier we thought it would be about the economy. do we know what it's going to be about? >> a couple of things. first of all, the president today or his treasury secretary tim geithner has extended the authority of t.a.r.p. i expect he might address that issue. tim geithner was describing that as an exit strategy for t.a.r.p. even as he extended it for another year. it's a demonstration of how politically unpopular that has become, but the president is trying to focus right now on job creation. the leadership of congress in to talk about what they can do to stimulate job creation, t.a.r.p. funds play into that both in terms of trying to lend some things out to small business and also the fact that it's -- the expenses are coming in less than expected and may free up some money for spending on other kinds of jobs programs, but the president's got good news today, melissa on health care reform
